The two actors I used in my music video were two students and friends who go to my college and fit the the genre stereo type for my brand of music I wished to create. In order for the music video to be most effective I gave the actors a description of what I would like them to wear so the colours would contrast and so they would fit into the genre style I wanted to make.
To the left is an image of Alex Kerr the main actor within my A2 media portfolio, I chose him to do this as he is a stereotypical indie aspirer and therefore I though was suitable for my music video. He enjoys listening to music such as ed sheeran and boyce avenue and therefore has a good knowledge of the genre of which I wanted to portray .
In addition to this the age of the actor paid a key role within what I was trying to create because within the storyline of the video the video there is a relationship break up. This can therefore be represented as majority of relationship break ups happen in younger years "puppy love " and therefore it can widen my target audience who are able to relate to the video.
The Image to the right is a picture of Emily Hood the female actor who featured within my media coursework. She is the same age as Alex and was portrayed as Alex's girlfriend within the music video and throughout the coursework. The reason why I used Emily within my coursework peice is because of her indie mindset and her style, as I fit the look I needed. Also what I thought worked well within the video was the height difference of the boy and girl as it looked cute and stereotypical which alot of people again will be able to relate to.
