Feedback

In order to gain some ways of improvement and to gather an audience opinion of my mock up I showed the video to a variety local people and students from my sixth form college and asked for their honest opinion of the video. The gave both strengths and criticisms of the video as this would enable me to identify good and bad parts of the video.

The Feeback is shown below :

" Overall the video is very good, I particularly enjoyed the performance element of the video as it was something different in a music video, also there was a clear story line behind the video and certain parts of the video really connected with the audience , particularly when it shows the boy and girl breaking up. However on the other hand parts of the video weren't as good , some of the lip sync was out in parts of the video and to make it better this may need to be altered to make it more professional. Also there were parts where the video played background sound which again made it bad to watch . But all in all I think its a good video "





" I thought the video was ok, some parts of it were good how guitar performance was used but other parts looked staged , and hence unrealistic. Also some parts were on too long which made it boring. "

" I thought the music video was really good, I enjoyed the storyline behind it aswell, having known who the characters are in the video I feel that you have done a really good job making them look like they are together in love and the performance element of the video I thought worked well . Although there were some parts of the video that were out of sync but if this was to be changed the video would be great ! "

"I thought the video was really good and I liked the use of local secenary within the video and how the acoustic performance is played throughout the video , but there was also some parts where it wasnt as good there was one part where you could here background noise which needed to be changed for a final video, also there could be more scenes of both the girl and boy to make it more romantic"

" I thought the music video was good and the ideas which were displayed were good, there was a clear story line of a relationship break up and this really links with who is watching it . However at some parts I think more of the female actor could have been shown and some of the lip syncing was out "

Aswell asking people directly and showing the video to them, I used the social networking site Facebook in order to gain feedback and comments of the video through posting it on my profile and gaining likes and feedback virtually. And the comments and screen shots are shown below .
