Risk Assessment
There are a variety of risks involved in the filming of the music video and at the photoshoot for the digipack. First of all, regarding the chosen locations I have decided to use, one of which is the derwent reservoir, this can be dangerous as there may be points which actors may be told to sit on walls near the waters edge, In order to reduce this risk I will cleverly use the camera work to make them looks closer to the water than they actually are, also I will ensure that they are sitting quite far back on the wall to reduce the risk of falling and make sure I chose a calm day so the wind cannot cause people to fall. Another possible risk is when actors are told to run, risks of this are that the actors may fall and injure themselves, to resolve this safety precautions such as tying laces can be used. Another risk may be when actors are at a height or when I am trying to shoot a high angled shot and I am at a great height, I need to ensure that the surface in which the actor or I stand on is safe, and that actors remain still and remain sensible. Other risks to me as the camera man are that I may use a variety of lighting equipment, and this may be heat up and can cause serious burns and other injuries, therefore to prevent this I will make sure lighting is not left on too long to overheat and safety precautions such as gloves can be worn when handling equipment.
